Every year the Association holds a BBQ to celebrate the year and its achievements
On 26th August this year we were bathed in sunshine! The Burgers were cooking and all was well with the world of Allotments.
This years trophys were awarded for Best 10 pole and 5 pole plots.
The winners were as follows
- 1st Prize - Best 10 Pole plot (The Brian Munn Cup) - Michael and Alina Draycott
- 2nd Prize - Best 10 Pole plot - Ian Furnell
- 1st Prize - Best 5 Pole plot (Robin Janes Memorial Cup)- James Billett
- 2nd Prize - Best 5 Pole plot - Helen Crabtree
We tucked into the food, with some interesting home grown and brewed additions to the classic sausage and burger.
Always a favourite at the end we had a wide selection of homemade puddings.
Again this year we held our Fruit and Veg show.
