I have lived in Desborough for over 16 years and I managed to obtain my plot ten years ago.
I joined the committee after two years and soon after I received the honour of becoming the Association Chairman, a post I held until 2018 when I took on the role of Vice Chair.
I am now busily retired from my role as a Project Manager and I found this has helped in various ways over the years of being a committee member.
My interests away from the allotment and gardening are spending time with my family, traveling as often as I can with my wife and family and the odd spot of DIY.
For me, gardening is a real joy; friendships are formed, knowledge is shared and the joy of watching the produce grow is a real highlight.
