I have been an allotment holder for the last 21 years and I joined the committee in 1998 as Treasurer.
I am now retired but before this I worked for PO telephones and subsequently BT for 36 years as a technician and then Technical Officer until 1992, since retiring I have not looked back and lived life to the full.
I love to garden and I love the great outdoors, the relaxation of growing and producing plentiful organic vegetables is incredibly fulfilling.
My main interest until this year was caravanning but I have retired from this and now spend more time travelling abroad and holidaying in the wonderful UK, using cottages,static caravans and Bed and Breakfasts. I also enjoy walking and visiting National Trust and English Heritage sites.
